On Being Beautiful…

As a stay-at-home-mom, I spend a lot of time with my kid, and he with me. There are times that I would like a little break from the child who has a seemingly permanent attachment to my leg, but for the most part, we have a good time together. Like in the mornings when I’m getting ready to go and Mr. B follows me into the bathroom to watch me do my hair and put my makeup on. Since I chopped off all my hair, Mr. B LOVES to comb it and run his hands through it and play with it. He also likes to hand me my makeup as I need it. The other morning, when he was handing me my powder, he pulled out the powder puff and patted his little nose with it and said, “Look, Momma! Now I’m beautiful like you!”. Awww.

This is as close as we can get to the beach.

  1. It is times like that, when you are grateful you didn’t throw them out the window as a baby!:) I have also come to that conclusion that Heavenly Father teaches them how to do these sweet things once in a while to make sure that they survive until adulthood.:)

  2. Wait…..these little creatures will reach ADULThood? When did you discover this??

And how are you and why don’t you email me and let me know what’s up? I’ll send you one with lots of updated goodies….

I'd LOVE to hear what you think!
