A Run-On

Ever have one of those days where you are just crazy busy and the phone keeps ringing and the dog wants to be let in/out/in/out/in/out and the baby is teething and rather cranky for such a cute kid and the birds love you and want to be with you so they escape from their safe little cage and fly around your head and your kitchen and you must constantly rescue them from the snatches of the cutest kitten ever and your five-year-old asks a million questions and is only satisfied by your answers and even though it feels like that five-year-old is attached to your hip he still manages to make various messes throughout the house while picking on his cranky brother AND fighting with the neighbor kid who alternates between “best friend ever” and “arch enemy of his little life” and your husband is going out of town and you have a yard sale the weekend he is going to be gone and it’s muggy and hot and you have blisters all over your feet and shin splints that are KILLING you because you actually get up and exercise every day most days once in awhile?

I seem to be having one of those weeks.

I’ll be back…just give me a minute.

  1. Yep. But right now with a temporarily empty house, I wish I had it again. It’s so much better than solitude. I can’t wait until the ole’ family is back together again in a couple of weeks.

  2. Oh, Carrol, I can’t wait to see you all also! Plus, one bad day DOES make the rest seem a little less hectic and frazzled.

I am having a great weekend and am so glad that yummy food, fun friends and good food can solve just about any dilema!

  3. Hey. Momma said there’d be days like that, there’d be days like that, my momma said…

    She was right.

I'd LOVE to hear what you think!
